01Booking

Ask for the first sensible appointment.

Five short steps. The first is a safety check, because some symptoms should never wait in a queue. Nothing is booked until we have written to you with a time, a format and a fee.

01Safety check

Six symptoms that need urgent care, not a queue.

Before anything else

Tick anything that applies right now. If none of these apply, continue.

03Waiting times

How soon you can expect to be seen

Published rather than promised on the phone, and reviewed on 1 September 2026. Where a figure is still provisional we say so instead of rounding it into a claim.

01

Urgent review

Within 3 working days

Reserved for escalating pain, a failing medication plan, or a referrer flagging deterioration. Triaged by the clinical team the day the request lands.

02

Provisional

New consultation — in person

2 to 3 weeks

A 45 to 60 minute first appointment. Bring imaging, a medication list and, where you have one, a referral letter.

03

Provisional

New consultation — telehealth

5 to 9 days

Suitable for a first conversation, second opinions and medication reviews. An examination still has to happen in person before any procedure.

04

Provisional

Image-guided procedure

2 to 4 weeks after consent

Scheduling depends on the list and on fasting or anticoagulation requirements discussed at your consultation.

05

Review appointment

Booked on the day

Follow-up intervals are set at the end of each visit so you leave with a date rather than a promise.
