03How we work
Four principles, applied to every plan
These are the rules the practice runs on, written down so you can hold us to them.
Name it before you treat it
A precise diagnosis first. Injections given hopefully rather than deliberately are how people end up with four of them and no answer.
One clinician, all the way
The doctor who assesses you performs your procedure and reviews you afterwards. Continuity is not a luxury in persistent pain — it is the treatment.
Say what will not work
Some pain does not respond to procedures. Saying so early, and redirecting to what does help, is a better outcome than a long list of attempts.
Finish the rehabilitation
Relief without rebuilt capacity comes back. Every plan runs through to a graded programme and a discharge conversation.
04The practice
The practice, in short
Australia Pain Management is a single-consultant practice by design. Appointments are longer than usual, the same doctor sees you throughout, and fees are published so that cost is never the reason a plan stalls. We work alongside physiotherapists and pain psychologists, and write to your GP after every visit so your care stays joined up.
